The East Suite contains two
larger and two smaller rooms separated by concrete walks.
Each section contains a variety of fine perennial plants
and cute decorations, the centerpiece being a spectacular,
spherical mosaic by Heather Hosford depicting the life cycle
of the Monarch Butterfly. The 384 square-foot room faces
east and gets plenty of morning and noon sun. It is
protected on the west by the large, white house occupied by
the Proprietors. Two rooms feature a large number of Common
Milkweed (A. purpula) and many other nectar, host and cover
plants for insects and birds alike.
