The North Room is a
smaller, circular room featuring host and nectar plants,
tall grasses, and decorations. Contained within a 79
square-foot circle of large stones, this room is attractive
to dragonflies and butterflies. The room gets midday sun and
is protected to the south by the white house and to the west
and northwest by a mix of very tall trees, including a large
black walnut tree. Nearby are also some very inviting
flower and vegetable gardens nicely maintained by neighbors
of the Proprietors.
